I got an update email from my cousin, and she has a fantastic sense of humor. For example, she says this about her daughter's musical talent:
"She is doing well with clarinet. I can now listen without pain shooting through my body."

My son would come to me and ask if I would listen to him play his new song! Sure babe...
He would go to the back of the house into his room and close the door and start playing. He would come running and ask how it sounded. Great babe, I love it! That dang instrument is so loud, he has to go to the back and play it with the door closed. -
