So my mom wants to know where they have good kids clothes. She's going to buy the boys some nice PJs for xmas and she asked where I like to buy the boys clothes and I was like "like?" I'm poor I buy what I can where I can. But she wants to buy them "nice" PJs so I said I would ask where such things were bought. Especially if you guys have noticed especially cute PJs anywhere.

Re: Good kids clothes
Fri, December 14, 2007 - 2:52 PMTarget actually has some great pj's. I just bought my guys those blanket sleeper things. They have them in microfleece and my eldest (8) thinks it's stinking hysterical to be wearing footie pj's. I picked him up and snuggled the stuffing out of him (he's only about a head shorter than me) and told him how I used to love him in them.
I think they have them up to the age of 12. The damn things are HUGE.
Kohl's does as well. If you can wait a bit, Macy's will clearance their stuff out and the prices end up being very reasonable. -

Re: Good kids clothes
Fri, December 14, 2007 - 3:22 PMI did grab one of those big footie Jammies for my older son I was so excited!
I think they will drive my younger son insane.
I'll check with Kohls. and can't really wait. Little one has a program at school he's in doing Twas the night before xmas and he is supposed to wear his Jammies, Medium has PJ day that day at school as well and I was hoping to take pictures of them to give to people for xmas. Or at least e-mail for x-mas. good to know about Macy's though.

Re: Good kids clothes
Fri, December 14, 2007 - 3:11 PMi'd say target. i work there, and i buy those footies all the time. they're regularly 12.99, but they go on sale for 9.99 (or two weeks ago 7.99). they'll go on clearance after christmas, probably for 9.08 .
i love to buy clothes at the children's place. check it out: www.thechildrensplace.com . they have great prices on clothes. i love the jeans especially- i have 4, 4, and a 5-yo, and these jeans have elastic waistbands and they come in great washes. they're also 2 for 28 bucks, and they're very sturdy for my crazy rambunctious kids. i really like that they don't sell slutty little girl clothes, either. if i had little girls, i'd definitely buy their clothes there.
they're also prewashed, so no shrinkage. and some of the stuff i've bought has lasted through 3 boys, so you know it's great quality. their socks are sturdy, too. i wish they sold shoes. -

Re: Good kids clothes
Fri, December 14, 2007 - 9:50 PMThere's a "nice" children's clothing store in a shopping center near where I work (you know, in the town where you live). I can't remember the name of it, but it's next to a Hallmark store. They have nice, and pricey, things.
There's also a children's resale shop a little further down the street which has TONS of hardly worn clothes. The majority of Max's gear has come from there. -
